Professional cutting performance across every size

All four Hayate models use the same curved 420 mm blade with extra-large teeth—6.5 teeth per 30 mm. This aggressive tooth configuration is designed for fast, efficient cutting through larger branches.

The blade is made from high-alloy Japanese steel and features Silky’s non-set tooth design. This creates a narrow kerf with less cutting resistance, helping the saw move smoothly through timber using a pull-cutting action.

For the best results, allow the blade and the saw’s own weight to do the cutting. Excessive downward pressure can make the saw harder to control and may damage the blade.

A rigid pole for better control

The oval-shaped aluminium pole provides additional rigidity and helps prevent the sections from rotating during use. This gives the operator greater control over the direction of the blade, particularly when the pole is extended.

Each section is held in place by two locking mechanisms: a push button and a clamping lever. The lower pole also features a rubberised grip for secure handling and a protective bumper at the base.

Dual sickles for cleaner pruning

The Hayate blade includes upper and lower sickles to assist with branch management.

The upper sickle helps keep the blade positioned in the cut and can be used to remove small twigs or pull down light branches. The lower sickle allows the operator to undercut the bark before completing the main cut, helping reduce bark tearing when the branch falls.
