The Husqvarna Automower® 550 is a commercial robotic mower designed for professional fleet operation across large and complex turf areas. With GPS-assisted navigation, remote management and robust construction, it delivers reliable autonomous mowing across lawns up to 5,000 m².
Husqvarna Fleet Services™ allows operators to remotely monitor the mower, adjust settings and manage one machine or an entire equipment fleet from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
This model operates within a professionally installed physical boundary-wire system.
Intelligent coverage of complex lawns
GPS-assisted navigation records which areas have already been mown and adjusts the mower's movement to provide more uniform coverage across complex installations.
Three guide wires help the mower navigate narrow passages, reach remote sections of the lawn and efficiently return to its charging station.
Professional fleet management
Husqvarna Fleet Services™ provides remote access to the mower's operating status, schedule, settings and location. Grounds teams and contractors can manage the mower alongside other compatible equipment from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
The professional user interface limits the controls on the mower to essential START and STOP functions, helping prevent unauthorised adjustments in public environments.
Adapts to changing lawn growth
The Weather Timer automatically adjusts mowing frequency according to grass growth. During periods of strong growth, the mower operates more frequently. When growth slows, it reduces its mowing time to limit unnecessary wear on the lawn and machine.
Designed for demanding commercial use
The Automower® 550 can operate for up to 24 hours per day and manage slopes of up to 45% (approximately 24°) within the installation.
Its weatherproof construction allows it to continue mowing in wet conditions throughout the growing season, subject to regular maintenance and cleaning.
Remote Object Detection uses ultrasonic technology to detect objects ahead of the mower and reduce its speed, helping minimise hard collisions around fixed obstacles.
Five-blade commercial cutting system
Five pivoting razor blades provide a consistent finish while returning fine grass clippings to the lawn. Electric cutting-height adjustment allows the cutting height to be set between 20 and 60 mm through the app.
Dual cutting direction helps promote even blade wear, while the skid plate protects the cutting system during operation.

Installation requirements
The Automower® 550 requires:
- A physical boundary-wire installation
- Guide wires for navigation and return to the charging station
- Bluetooth® or cellular connectivity for supported remote functions
- Husqvarna Fleet Services™ for remote monitoring and management
Boundary wire, guide wire, stakes and connectors are not included. An appropriate installation kit is required and sold separately.
