The Husqvarna Automower® 520 EPOS® is a professional robotic mower designed for commercial grounds, public spaces and managed turf areas up to 5,000 m².
Husqvarna EPOS® satellite technology replaces physical boundary wires with precise virtual boundaries. This gives grounds teams the flexibility to create multiple work areas, adjust individual mowing settings and add temporary stay-out zones as site requirements change.
Systematic mowing enables the Automower® 520 EPOS® to cover turf efficiently in parallel lines, while Husqvarna Fleet Services™ provides remote monitoring and control from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Wire-free EPOS® navigation
Husqvarna EPOS® uses satellite-based RTK-GNSS technology to provide positioning accuracy down to approximately 2 cm. Virtual boundaries eliminate the need for physical perimeter wires, reducing the risk of downtime caused by damaged cables.

Systematic mowing patterns
EPOS® technology allows the mower to work systematically in parallel lines rather than following a random mowing pattern. Operators can also select patterns such as stripes, diamonds, triangles and checkerboards to suit the presentation requirements of the site.
The mower has a standard capacity of up to 5,000 m² and a sports-turf capacity of up to 2,500 m² when operating up to 24 hours per day. Actual coverage depends on the operating schedule, turf conditions, site complexity and required finish.
Professional fleet management
Husqvarna Fleet Services™ allows operators to remotely monitor, control and analyse the mower alongside other compatible equipment.
From a smartphone, tablet or computer, grounds teams can review mower status, adjust schedules and manage settings for an individual machine or an entire fleet.
The professional user interface limits the controls on the mower itself to essential START and STOP functions, helping prevent unauthorised adjustments in public environments.
Handles slopes and complex sites
The Automower® 520 EPOS® can manage slopes of up to 45% (approximately 24°) within the working area and up to 15% at the virtual boundary.
Virtual transport paths help the mower move efficiently between work areas and return to its charging station, including through narrow sections of the installation.
Five-blade commercial cutting system
Five pivoting razor blades provide a consistent finish while returning fine grass clippings to the lawn. Electric cutting-height adjustment allows the cutting height to be set between 20 and 60 mm through the app.
Dual cutting direction helps promote even blade wear, while balance control detects irregularities in the cutting system.

- Professional setup of the work areas, transport paths and charging station
Satellite reception and site conditions can affect system performance. Buildings, dense tree cover and other obstructions should be assessed before installation.
The Automower® 520 EPOS® does not include object-detection technology. Work areas should be kept clear of small objects and other potential hazards.
