Professional granular insect control for Argentine stem weevil, ants and mole crickets in turf.
Monarch G Insecticide is a ready-to-spread granular formulation containing 0.5 g/kg fipronil. It provides effective control of selected insect pests in recreational, domestic and commercial turf, including home lawns, parks, playing fields, golf courses and turf farms.
Its non-repellent action means target pests cannot easily detect or avoid the treatment. Monarch G can also be applied directly to active ant nests in domestic situations when used according to the product label.

Urban ant-nest applications
Monarch G may also be used as a spot treatment around active ant nests in domestic situations, including nests in soil, grass, mulch and stone or pebble paths. Do not apply it to non-porous surfaces such as concrete, solid pavers or bitumen.
Application Rates
Apply the granules evenly using a suitable granular applicator. Incorporate the treatment immediately after application with at least 6 mm of rainfall or overhead irrigation.

Important Application Information
- Apply at the first sign of pest activity.
- Water in immediately after application with at least 6 mm of rainfall or overhead irrigation.
- Keep people and pets out of treated areas until the incorporating rainfall or irrigation has dried.
- Do not apply near edible or flowering plant roots, potted plants, drains, waterways or fishponds.
- Do not graze treated turf or feed treated clippings to poultry or livestock.
- Multiple applications may be required when managing established ant populations.
