Wire-free AWD robotic mowing for steep and demanding lawns

The Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD NERA is a premium robotic lawn mower designed for large, complex and steep lawns. Its powerful all-wheel-drive system handles rough terrain and slopes of up to 70%, while the articulated body provides excellent traction and manoeuvrability through demanding areas and narrow passages.

With systematic mowing, the Automower® 435X AWD NERA can maintain lawns up to 5,000 m². For complex lawns using an irregular mowing pattern, it offers an area capacity of up to 3,500 m².

Built-in Husqvarna EPOS® satellite technology allows the mower to operate using precise virtual boundaries, removing the need for a traditional boundary wire. Work areas, transport paths and temporary stay-out zones can be created and adjusted through the Automower® Connect app.

A compatible EPOS® Reference Station is required for a wire-free installation and is sold separately. The mower can also be installed using a traditional physical boundary wire.

Powerful All-Wheel-Drive Performance

The Automower® 435X AWD NERA is designed for lawns where conventional robotic mowers may struggle. Its all-wheel-drive system and articulated body allow it to maintain traction across uneven ground, rough terrain and steep inclines of up to 70%, equivalent to approximately 35 degrees.

This makes it particularly well suited to large residential properties with significant slopes, complex terrain and multiple mowing areas.

Wire-Free EPOS® Installation

Husqvarna EPOS® technology uses satellite-based positioning to create precise virtual boundaries without installing a physical wire around the lawn.

Through the Automower® Connect app, you can create and adjust:

• Transport paths

• Temporary stay-out zones

• Individual schedules

• Cutting heights for different mowing areas

• Systematic or irregular mowing patterns

Virtual boundaries can be updated whenever the garden layout changes, making it easy to protect seasonal flowers, newly planted areas, outdoor projects or spaces temporarily used for recreation.

The EPOS® RS1 Reference Station is not included with this mower and must be purchased separately for a wire-free installation.

Systematic and Irregular Mowing

Choose the mowing pattern that best suits each area of your lawn.

Systematic mowing allows the mower to work in organised parallel lines, increasing its maximum area capacity to 5,000 m². It can also create visual lawn patterns such as stripes, checkerboard or triangles.

Irregular mowing cuts the lawn from different directions and is particularly well suited to steep, complex or obstacle-filled areas. The maximum recommended capacity when using irregular mowing is 3,500 m².

Different mowing patterns can be assigned to separate work areas through Automower® Zone Control.

Object Detection and Avoidance

Ultrasonic sensors help the mower detect and avoid objects on the lawn. This can reduce unnecessary impacts and unplanned stops while allowing the mower to operate more smoothly around common garden obstacles.

The lawn should still be kept clear of small items, toys, hoses and other objects that may be difficult for the mower to detect.

Automower® Connect

Automower® Connect gives you control of the mower through your compatible smartphone. Use the app to:

• Start, stop or park the mower

• Create and adjust mowing schedules

• Set virtual work areas and stay-out zones
