How do Initiator Tablets work?
Initiator Tablets are placed in the soil near the plant’s root system. With adequate soil moisture, the tablet gradually releases its active ingredient and nutrients for uptake by the plant.
This eliminates the need for spray application and provides a practical option for treating eligible plants in nurseries, gardens, commercial landscapes and other managed areas.
Which plants can be treated?
When applied according to the product label, Initiator Tablets can be used with:
- Eucalyptus trees
- Roses
- Azaleas
- Lillypillies
- Potted palms
- Magnolias
The tablets help control or reduce damage from specified pests, including aphids, psyllids, scale, mealybugs and certain insects affecting eucalyptus trees.
Protection and nutrition together
In addition to systemic insect protection, Initiator contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. This combination can help improve the growth and establishment of newly planted seedlings, container-grown plants and established ornamentals where insect pressure may otherwise limit performance.
